Introduction
You can change a listing's price at any time from Edit listing. Type a new price per ticket, or raise or lower the current price by a percentage or a dollar amount. Before you save, the window shows how the change affects your return and your profit.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Open Edit Listing
In Inventory, click ⋮ at the far right of the listing's row (1) and choose Edit listing (2).
Step 2: Check the Summary
At the top of Edit listing, check the summary (1): Current list price, ROI, P&L per ticket and P&L (2 unsold). The last figure, P&L (2 unsold), is your total profit on the tickets you haven't sold yet (2 in this example).
In this example, the listing is priced at $449.00 per ticket, with an ROI of +44.8% and a profit of +$278.00 on the 2 unsold tickets.
Step 3: Type the New Price
Under Pricing, type the new price per ticket in New List $ (1), for example 469. Your cost per ticket is shown underneath, here Cost $310.00 per ticket.
The summary updates right away (2). It shows the New list price with the new ROI and P&L, here $469.00, +51.3% and +$318.00 for the 2 unsold tickets.
⚠️Important: If the new price is below your cost, ROI and P&L show a loss and a Selling under cost warning appears. Click Hold at cost instead to use your cost as the price, then click Save changes. To keep the lower price, just click Save changes.
Step 4: Or Raise or Lower the Price
To change the price by an amount instead, click Raise or lower (1). Then do one of the following:
- Pick a preset (2): −10%, −5%, +5% or +10%.
- Choose Lower or Raise, type an amount and pick % or $ (3). For example, choose Raise, type 20 and pick $.
The line underneath shows the old and new price (4), for example $449.00 → $469.00. The change also shows next to Raise or lower (+$20.00), and the summary at the top shows the new list price.
Tip: You can use one method at a time. The one you use last replaces the other: picking a Raise or lower option clears New List $, and typing in New List $ resets Raise or lower.
Step 5: Save
Click Save changes (1). To close the window without saving, click Cancel.
⚠️Important: Save changes stays greyed out until you change something.
Step 6: Check the New Price
A Price updated message appears, and the LIST $ column shows the new price for the listing (1), here $469.00. The line under the price, Basis, is your cost per ticket.
Tip: To reprice many listings quickly, use PRICE INLINE in the toolbar (see How to Change Prices Right in the Grid (PRICE INLINE)).
Tip: To see earlier prices, click ⋮ and choose Price History (see How to See a Listing's Price History).
Tip: Edit listing also has Marketplace distribution, to choose which marketplaces the listing goes to, and Price overrides, to adjust the price on all marketplaces or on the ones you pick (see How to Choose Which Marketplaces a Listing Goes To and How to Set Price Overrides for Different Marketplaces).
