Introduction
PRICE INLINE lets you reprice listings without opening each one. You type new prices straight into the LIST $ column of your Inventory, then save them all at once. If you change your mind, you can leave without saving. This guide shows you both.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Turn On PRICE INLINE
In Inventory, click PRICE INLINE in the toolbar (1). It turns amber, and the prices in the LIST $ column (2) become boxes you can type in.
⚠️Important: While PRICE INLINE is on, filters, saved views and Add Tickets are locked.
Step 2: Read the Shortcuts
A yellow banner above the grid shows the keyboard shortcuts (1). Here is what each one does:
- Tab moves to the next listing.
- Enter confirms the price and moves to the next listing. Although the banner says it saves, nothing is saved until you click Save changes (see Step 4).
- Escape reverts: it leaves PRICE INLINE without saving. If you have unsaved prices, you're asked first (see Step 7).
Step 3: Type the New Price
Click the LIST $ box of the listing and type the new price per ticket (1). In this example, the price of 122 · Row 25 is changed to 349.
Step 4: Press Enter, Then Save
Press Enter. The box stays highlighted (1), and a bar at the bottom of the page shows 1 pending price change (2). Change more listings if you like, then click Save changes in the bar (3), or the green Save button in the toolbar.
⚠️Important: Pressing Enter doesn't save your price. Nothing is saved until you click Save changes (or Save).
Step 5: Check the Result
A message such as Price updated to $349.00 appears, PRICE INLINE switches off, and LIST $ shows the new price (1).
Step 6: To Back Out, Click ✕
If you've typed prices you don't want to keep (here, PRICE INLINE was turned on again and 359 typed for 122 · Row 25), click the ✕ next to the green Save button (1) to leave without saving.
Step 7: Keep Editing or Discard
In Discard unsaved price changes?, click Keep editing (1) to go back to your changes, or Discard changes (2) to throw them away.
Step 8: Your Saved Price Stays
After Discard changes, PRICE INLINE switches off and the listing keeps its last saved price (1). In this example, a new price of 359 was typed and then discarded, so 122 · Row 25 still shows the $349.00 saved in Step 5.
Tip: To undo one price you typed, type the old price back in.
Tip: The bar at the bottom also has Discard, which throws away all your pending prices and turns PRICE INLINE off straight away, and Clear, which throws them away but keeps PRICE INLINE on so you can keep editing.
Tip: To see how a new price affects your profit before you save, use Edit listing instead (see How to Change a Listing's Price with Edit Listing).
