Introduction
If you have two or more listings for the same event, section and row, you can merge them into one listing. This guide shows you how to choose the listings, check the combined listing before you merge, and find it in your Inventory.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Open Combine
In Inventory, find the listings. To narrow the list, type the section in the Section filter (1), for example 224. Click ⋮ on one of them (2) and choose Combine under MODIFY (3).
Step 2: Choose the Listings to Merge
In Combine Listings, tick the other listings you want to merge (1). The one you started from is marked CURRENT.
Check the Combined Listing Preview (2): here Seats: 7-10, Quantity: 4 and Avg listing price: $142.00. The Sourced from line (3) shows which purchase orders the tickets came from, here #15005 and #15004.
Step 3: Combine
Click Combine 2 Listings (1). The number matches how many listings you ticked.
Step 4: Check the Combined Listing
A 2 listings combined message appears. Inventory now shows one listing in section 224, row 3, with seats 7–10 (1) and a QTY of 4 (2).
⚠️Important: You need at least 2 listings for the same event, section and row, and together their seats must have no gaps. Otherwise the window shows Combine requires at least 2 listings in the same event, section, and row. or Seats are not consecutive.
⚠️Important: Some listings can't be combined, for example listings that include parking. Combine is greyed out for them. Contact support@seathq.com if you need to change one.
Tip: The combined listing uses the average listing price shown in the preview. Check it, and update it with Edit listing if needed (see How to Change a Listing's Price with Edit Listing).
Tip: Your purchase orders stay as they are (originals unchanged).
Tip: To break a listing into smaller listings, use Split (see How to Split a Listing into Smaller Listings).
