Introduction
Tags help buyers and your team understand a listing. External tags are shown to buyers on the marketplaces: disclosures such as a restricted view, perks such as included parking, and seat attributes such as an aisle seat. Internal tags are private labels for you and your team. This guide shows you how to add and remove both on an existing listing.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Open Tags
In Inventory, find the listing. For example, type 108 in the Section filter (1). Click ⋮ on the listing (2) and choose Tags under MODIFY (3).
Step 2: Add an External Tag
In Manage Tags, under EXTERNAL TAGS, open Select external tags... (1) and choose the disclosure buyers should see (2), for example Obstructed View. The list is grouped into Disclosure, Perk and Attribute; scroll down to see every group.
⚠️Important: External tags work like external notes: the tag triggers the correct disclosure or attribute on the marketplaces, and buyers see it. Always add mandatory disclosures, such as viewing restrictions (for example Obstructed View), accessibility (Wheelchair user only) and age limits (for example Must be 21+).
Step 3: Add an Internal Tag
The external tag you chose now shows under the box. Under INTERNAL TAGS, type the tag in Type to add... (1), for example Q4 push, and click Add (2). If only you should see the tag, tick Personal tag (only visible to me) (3) before you click Add.
⚠️Important: Who sees your tags: external tags are visible to buyers on marketplaces, and each one triggers the matching disclosure or attribute there. Each external tag shows a small icon for its group, for example a warning sign for a disclosure. Internal tags are never shown to buyers. A personal tag (lock icon) is only visible to you, and any other internal tag (a company tag) is visible to your whole team.
Step 4: Remove a Tag
To remove a tag, click the x on its chip (1), for example Season tickets.
Step 5: Save
Check that the window shows the tags you want, here Obstructed View and Q4 push. Then click Save Tags (1).
⚠️Important: Save Tags stays greyed out until you make a change.
Step 6: Check the Tags
In Inventory, the EXTERNAL TAGS column (1) and the INTERNAL TAGS column (2) show the new tags. If you don't see INTERNAL TAGS, scroll the table to the right. If you don't see the new tags right away, refresh the page.
Tip: External tags come in three groups. Disclosure includes viewing restrictions (such as Obstructed View or Limited View), Wheelchair user only, age limits from Must be 3+ to Must be 21+ and other conditions such as ID or Credit Card Required at Entry. Perk includes extras such as Includes parking, Includes VIP pass and Food and Beverage Included. Attribute describes the seats, for example Aisle Seat or ADA - Wheelchair Companion Seating.
Tip: To filter by tag, use the External tags or Internal tags filter under the column header.
Tip: Manage tag library → in the Manage Tags window lists your internal tags.
