Introduction
Each column on the Activity page has a filter box under its heading. This guide shows you how to use them to narrow your activity to a date range, an event, specific seats, a before or after value, or the person who made the change, and how to remove your filters again.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Pick a Date Range
Click the Date box, with the calendar icon, under DATE / TIME (1). Enter a FROM date (2) and a TO date (3).
Step 2: Check the Dates You Picked
Click Done to close the panel. The Date chip (1) in the row under the toolbar and the Date box (2) show your range, and the footer shows how many activities match (3).
Step 3: Filter by Event
Click Clear all to start over. Click the Event box (1), type at least 3 letters of the event name, and tick the event (2). To filter by when the event happens instead, use the Any date box under EVENT DATE (3).
Step 4: Filter by Seats or Quantity
Click Done. Then type in the Section box (1), or in Venue, Row or Seats, or enter Min / Max under QTY (2). Only matching rows stay, and the footer updates (3).
Step 5: Find a Before or After Value
Type a value in Was under ORIGINAL (1) or Now under CURRENT (2), such as a price. In this example, Now = 459 finds the price change that set the price to 459 (3), and a Current: 459 chip appears in the row under the toolbar.
Step 6: Filter by Who Made the Change
Scroll the grid to the right and click the User box (1), then tick a person (2), or System for changes SeatHQ made automatically. Click Done.
Step 7: Remove Filters
Each filter shows as a chip in the row under the toolbar. Click the x on a chip (1) to remove that filter, or click Clear all (2) to remove every filter at once.
Step 8: If You See "No Matching Activity"
If a quick filter is on as well as your column filters, you may see no rows at all. In this example, the User chip was removed and the Sales quick filter was turned on under Filters, so the Hamilton price change no longer matches.
A number on Filters (1) means a quick filter is also on, even though quick filters don't show as chips. No matching activity (2) means no row matches all your filters. Click Clear in the message to remove all filters, including quick filters.
Step 9: Check That All Filters Are Gone
The chips are gone, Filters no longer shows a number (1), and all of your activity is listed again (2).
Tip: Filters add up: a row must match all of them.
Tip: The Event, User and Source ID boxes let you tick more than one value.
Frequently Asked Questions
I removed all the chips but still see fewer rows. Why?
A quick filter is probably still on. Quick filters don't show as chips, so check for a number on the Filters button and clear them under Filters > Clear all > Done.
