Introduction
This guide shows you how to fill in Stock & Delivery when you add tickets, so buyers know how and when they'll get their tickets. To open the Add Tickets to Inventory window, see How to Add Tickets to Your Inventory.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Choose the Delivery Method
In the Add Tickets to Inventory window, under Stock & Delivery, click Delivery and choose Direct Transfer or PDF Upload (1). Direct Transfer is selected to start with. This example uses PDF Upload.
⚠️Important: For some events, Delivery is set to Direct Transfer and can't be changed. A note under the field says so: Delivery type automatically set to Direct Transfer because this event requires direct transfer delivery.
Step 2: Choose the On-Hand Status
Click On Hand Status (1). Choose On Hand if you already have the tickets and can deliver right away, or Pending if you don't have them yet. Pending is selected to start with.
Tip: Choose On Hand only if you can deliver right away. The On-Hand Date field then disappears.
Step 3: Enter the On-Hand Date
If you chose Pending, enter the date you'll have the tickets in On-Hand Date (1). Type it or click the calendar icon.
⚠️Important: To publish tickets with On Hand Status Pending, you must enter an On-Hand Date.
⚠️Important: Make sure you'll have the tickets by your On-Hand Date.
Step 4: Make Sure the Date Is Before the Event
The On-Hand Date can't be after the event. If it is, the field turns red and you'll see On-Hand Date cannot be after the time of the event. (1). Here the event is on Nov 12, 2026, so 12/05/2026 is too late. Pick an earlier date.
Step 5: Add the Order Number (Optional)
Type the order number from where you bought the tickets in External Order ID (1). It helps you match the listing to your purchase later.
Step 6: Check the Date in Inventory
After you add the tickets, find the listing in Inventory (1), for example by typing the event name in the Event or performer box above the grid. The DELIVERY column shows the delivery method, and under it your On-Hand Date, starting with Available (2). Listings you already have show On hand there instead.
Tip: If you switch the grid to Compact with the Density icon in the toolbar, the date gets its own AVAILABLE DATE column (see How to Sort, Show or Hide Columns and Change Row Spacing).

Where did the On-Hand Date field go?
It only shows when On Hand Status is Pending.

Choose the one that matches your tickets: Direct Transfer if the tickets are transferred to the buyer from your ticketing account (for example your Ticketmaster account), PDF Upload if you'll upload PDF tickets.
Why do my orders say Mobile Transfer or E-Ticket?
Orders and Activity still use the earlier names: Mobile Transfer is Direct Transfer, and E-Ticket is PDF Upload.
