Introduction
This guide shows you how to clear the unread count on the bell by marking one notification, or all of them, as read.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Open Notifications
Click the bell (1) at the top right to open Notifications (2).
Step 2: Mark One Notification as Read
Point to the notification and click the ✓ at its right (1). Its label is Mark as read.
Step 3: Check the Result
The notification loses its blue dot and moves below the unread ones (1). The number on the bell (2) and the new count (3) each drop by one.
Step 4: Mark Everything as Read
To mark all notifications as read at once, click Mark all read (1) at the top of the panel.
Step 5: Check the Result
All blue dots disappear, Mark all read is greyed out (1), and the bell shows no number (2). The new count next to Notifications is gone too.
⚠️Important: You can't mark a notification as unread again.
Tip: Opening a notification also marks it as read (see How to Check Your Notifications).
Frequently Asked Questions
Does marking a notification as read delete it?
No. It stays in the list without the blue dot.
