Introduction
This guide shows you how to import several vendor logins in one go from a CSV file, instead of adding them one by one.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Check Your Affiliate and Click Bulk Add
- Check that the affiliate button at the top (1) shows the affiliate you want the accounts added to (see How to Check or Switch the Affiliate You're Working In).
- On Accounting > Purchase Accounts, click Bulk Add (2).
⚠️Important: Accounts are added to the affiliate shown on the affiliate button at the top.
Step 2: Read How It Works
The Bulk Import Accounts window opens. Read How it works (1). You'll use Download CSV Template (2) and the upload area (3) in the next steps.
Step 3: Download the Template
Click Download CSV Template (1). The file purchasing_accounts_template.csv downloads. It has the columns email, password and vendor, plus one example row.
Step 4: Fill In the Template
- Open the template in your spreadsheet app.
- Replace the example row and add one account per row: the login email, the password, and the vendor name exactly as it appears in the Vendor list of the Add Purchasing Account window (Add New), for example AXS, Tickpick or Vivid Seats.
- Save the file as .csv.
For example:
email,password,vendor you+axs@example.com,YourAXSPassword,AXS
⚠️Important: Only .csv files are accepted.
Step 5: Add Your File
Drag your file onto Drag & drop your CSV file here, or click that area to choose it. The upload area (1) shows the file name after Selected:, and the Import Accounts button (2) appears.
Step 6: Import the Accounts
Click Import Accounts. The window closes, you'll see Accounts imported successfully (1), and the number on the Purchase Accounts tab (2) goes up.
Step 7: Find Your New Accounts
Scroll down. Your new accounts (1) appear at the end of the list. You can use them to add and publish tickets straight away.
⚠️Important: Your CSV file contains passwords. Delete it when the import is done.
Step 8: Fix Any Rows with Problems
If some rows have problems, you'll see an error message (1) and Please fix the following rows: (2), listing each row number and the reason. Fix those rows in your file and import it again. Then check your list on Purchase Accounts to make sure no account was added twice.
The messages in the screenshot are only examples. The wording you see depends on what's wrong with each row.
