Introduction
When you need one particular order, you don't have to scroll through the whole list. This guide shows you how to go straight to an order with the search bar at the top of the page or with the order number boxes on Orders, and how to get back to the full list.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Search by Order Number
Click the search box at the top of any page and type the SeatHQ order number (or the marketplace's order number), for example 260013 (1). The order appears under SALES (2), with its event, marketplace, status and amount.
Step 2: Open the Result
Click the result. Orders opens with only that order listed:
- A Search: 260013 chip appears above the grid (1).
- The order is listed (2).
- Its details open in a panel on the right (3).
To see all your orders again, click the x on the chip.
Step 3: Search by Event Name
To find orders for an event, type the event name in the search box, for example Hamilton (1). Your orders for that event are listed under SALES (2). Matching events, inventory and purchase orders appear in the same list, under EVENTS, INVENTORY and PURCHASES. The number next to each heading shows how many matches it has.
If a group has more matches than fit, you'll see a line such as +2 more in Inventory under it. To see every order for an event, type the event name in the Event box under EVENT NAME on Orders instead (see How to Filter Your Orders).
Tip: To see all the tickets you have for an event, click the event under EVENTS. Your Inventory opens filtered to that event, showing all of its tickets.
Step 4: Or Filter by SeatHQ Order ID
On Orders, type the SeatHQ order number in the Order ID box under SEATHQ ORDER ID (1). A filter chip appears above the grid (2), and the count next to Orders shows how many orders match (3).
Step 5: Or Filter by Marketplace Order Number
To filter the grid by the marketplace's order number, type it in the Mktp order box under MARKETPLACE ORDER ID (1), for example 674480964. A chip shows the filter (2), and the count next to Orders shows that only the matching order is listed (3).
Step 6: Show All Orders Again
Delete the text in the box (1), or click the x in the box or on its chip. The chip disappears, and the bottom of the grid shows all your orders again (2).
⚠️Important: Search and filters only find your own affiliate's orders.
Tip: Clicking an order in the search results opens its details panel right away (see How to Open an Order's Details).
Frequently Asked Questions
Search says "No matches found". What now?
Check the number for typos and try again. You can also try the Order ID or Mktp order box on Orders.
Which number should I use?
Either number works in the search box at the top of the page. On Orders, use the Order ID box for the SeatHQ number, or the Mktp order box for the marketplace's number (for example, from a marketplace email).
How do I see all my orders for one event?
On Orders, type the event name in the Event box under EVENT NAME. Only orders for matching events are listed (see How to Filter Your Orders). The search box at the top of the page also lists orders under SALES, but when there are many it shows only the first few.
