Introduction
Every time your tickets sell, the sale shows up as an order on the Orders page. This guide shows you how to open Orders, what each column means, where to find the Actions column at the far right of the grid, and how to read the totals at the bottom of the grid.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Open Orders
In the top menu, point to Delivery (1) and click Orders (2).
Step 2: Get to Know the Orders Page
Each row is one order.
- The number next to Orders (1) is how many orders are listed.
- The arrow next to ORDER DATE/TIME (2) shows that orders are sorted newest first, so your latest sale is at the top (3). Each order shows the date and time it came in, with the time zone, for example Oct 14, 2026 · 5:00 AM ET.
- Click a column header to change the sort.
⚠️Important: A single click on a row only ticks its checkbox and switches the toolbar to bulk actions, such as Manage Tags. To open an order's details, double-click the row (see How to Open an Order's Details).
⚠️Important: Orders only lists your own affiliate's orders.
Step 3: Find the Order Numbers and Status
- SEATHQ ORDER ID (1) is SeatHQ's number for the order.
- STATUS (2) shows Active or Cancelled.
- MARKETPLACE (3) shows where the tickets sold, as a short code. For example, SH is StubHub and TM is Ticketmaster.
- ORIGIN (4) shows how the order came in, for example Marketplace.
- MARKETPLACE ORDER ID (5) is the marketplace's own number for the same order.
Tip: When you contact support about an order, give both the SEATHQ ORDER ID and the MARKETPLACE ORDER ID.
Step 4: Check the Event and Seats
Scroll right using the scrollbar at the bottom of the grid, or hold Shift and use your mouse wheel. SEATHQ ORDER ID stays pinned on the left, so you always know which order you're looking at.
- The event: EVENT NAME (1), EVENT DATE/TIME (the date, with the event's local start time and time zone underneath, for example 7:00 PM PT), VENUE NAME and VENUE CITY.
- The seats: QTY (2) (the number of tickets), SECTION and ROW.
Scroll a little further for LOW (3) and HIGH (4), the first and last seat numbers in the order. For example, an order for seats 401 and 402 shows 401 under LOW and 402 under HIGH.
Step 5: Check the Money Columns
Keep scrolling right for the money columns.
- REVENUE (1) is what the order brought in.
- COST (2) is what you paid for the tickets in the order.
- FACE VALUE (3) is the ticket face value.
- RETAIL PRICE (4) is the price per ticket the order sold at.
- PROFIT (5) is Revenue minus Cost.
- ORDER TOTAL (6) is the order's total at your list price: the List Per price in the order's details times the number of tickets. It can be a little different from REVENUE.
For example, the top order has a REVENUE of $426.76 and a COST of $270, so its PROFIT is +$156.76. Its ORDER TOTAL is $430.
Step 6: Check Delivery, Affiliate and Tags
- DELIVERY METHOD (1) shows how the tickets are delivered, for example E-Ticket or Mobile Transfer. On Inventory, the same methods are called PDF Upload and Direct Transfer.
- DELIVERY STATUS (2) shows Pending, Delivered or Cancelled.
- After those come AFFILIATE (3), the affiliate the order belongs to, then EXTERNAL TAGS (4) and INTERNAL TAGS. These two columns show the tags on the listing the tickets sold from (see How to Add or Remove Tags on a Listing). A dash (—) means that listing has no tags. Tags added to the order itself appear under Tags in the order's details panel (see How to Open an Order's Details).
Step 7: Scroll to the Far Right: Buyer, Notes and Actions
Scroll all the way to the right.
- BUYER (1) shows who bought the tickets, which is usually the marketplace.
- NOTES (2) shows any note on the order.
- The last column is the Actions column. It has no heading. On orders still waiting for delivery, it shows the Fulfill Order button (3), a check mark in a circle. Delivered and cancelled orders show a document icon in that spot instead.
Tip: If you don't see the Actions column, scroll right. If it's still missing, turn it on from the Columns icon at the top right of the grid (see Step 8).
Step 8: Can't See the Actions Column?
- First, scroll all the way to the right. The Actions column is the last one.
- If it still isn't there, click the Columns icon in the toolbar at the top right of the grid, next to View: No view. When you point to it, it shows Columns.
- Scroll to the end of the COLUMNS list and tick Actions (1).
The Actions column comes back at the far right of the grid.
Step 9: Read the Totals
The bar at the bottom of the grid shows the number of orders (1) and totals for Qty (2), Cost, Profit and Total Sold (3). They cover every order that matches your current filters. Total Sold adds up the REVENUE of those orders.
The order count includes cancelled orders, but the totals leave them out.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know when I've made a sale?
A New Sale notification appears under the bell icon at the top of the page, and the order shows up at the top of Orders.
What's the difference between Revenue and Profit?
Revenue is what the order brought in. Profit is Revenue minus the Cost of the tickets.
Why is ORDER TOTAL different from REVENUE?
ORDER TOTAL is worked out from your list price. REVENUE is what the order brought in, and it's the amount that Profit and Total Sold are based on.
Why does COST show $0?
No cost was entered for those tickets when they were added.
What happens to a cancelled order?
Its STATUS and DELIVERY STATUS show Cancelled. It stays on the list and counts in the number of orders, but it isn't included in the Qty, Cost, Profit or Total Sold totals. To list only cancelled orders, click Filters and tick Cancelled.
Why does BUYER show a marketplace?
Marketplaces usually buy the tickets on behalf of their customer.
Why don't I see a Fulfill Order button on some orders?
The Fulfill Order button only appears on orders that are still waiting for delivery. Delivered and cancelled orders show a document icon instead.
