Introduction
Filters narrow the Orders grid down to the orders you want to see, such as orders still waiting for delivery or orders for one event. This guide shows you how to use quick filters and column filters, and how to clear them again.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Use a Quick Filter
- Click Filters (1).
- Under QUICK FILTERS, tick a filter, for example Pending Delivery (2). The choices are Active, Cancelled and Pending Delivery. The grid updates right away.
- Click Done (3) to close the panel.
Tip: Pending Delivery lists orders that are still waiting for delivery.
Step 2: See the Filtered List
Filters now shows how many quick filters are on (1). Only matching orders are listed: here, the orders whose DELIVERY STATUS (2) is Pending (scroll right to see it). The order count and totals update to match.
Step 3: Clear All Filters
To turn off all filters, open Filters and click Clear all (1). This clears quick filters and any column filters, and all your orders are listed again (2). Click Done or press Esc to close the panel.
Step 4: Filter by Typing in a Column
Type in the box under a column header, for example Boston under EVENT NAME (1). A chip for the filter appears above the grid (2), and only matching orders are listed.
Step 5: Filter with a List
Some columns have a list instead of a text box.
- Scroll right and click the Delivery box under DELIVERY STATUS (1).
- Tick a value, for example Delivered (2).
- Click Done (3).
Step 6: Check the Result
The chip shows the filter (1), and the box shows the value you picked (2). Only delivered orders are listed. To remove a filter, click the x on its chip.
Tip: You can combine filters, for example Pending Delivery plus an event name.
Step 7: Filter by Amount
- Scroll right to the number columns. Columns such as QTY, REVENUE, COST and ORDER TOTAL have Min and Max boxes. For example, type 900 in Min under REVENUE (1) to list orders that brought in $900 or more. A Revenue: ≥ $900 chip appears above the grid.
- Profit (2) has presets (3): = $0, > $0, > $50 and > $100.
- Marketplace lets you pick a marketplace. The Order date and Event date boxes, which show a calendar icon, open a calendar.
Tip: To save filters you use often as a view, click View: No view at the top right of the grid and choose Save as new view… (see How to Save, Apply and Reset Table Views).
Step 8: If Nothing Matches
If no orders match your filters, the grid is empty and the bottom of the grid shows 0 orders (3). To start again, delete the text in the box (1) or click the x on the filter chip (2).
⚠️Important: Filters only change what you see. They never change your orders.
