Welcome to SeatHQ!
This checklist walks you through the first things to check after you log in: your Inventory, your affiliate, your timezone, your purchasing accounts, where to add tickets, how to search and where to get help. Most steps name a detailed article you can read if you need more.
The numbers in brackets, like (1), match the numbered markers in the screenshots.
Step 1: Log In and Open Your Inventory
Log in at sell.seathq.com (see How to Log In to SeatHQ). You land on your Inventory page (1), which lists all your ticket listings grouped by event. Each event has its own row, with its date, venue and totals, above its listings.
Step 2: Check Which Affiliate You're Working In
- Click the button with the building icon at the top of the page (1). It shows the name and ID of your affiliate.
- In the list that opens, the affiliate you're working in has a check mark (2).
Everything you see in SeatHQ belongs to that affiliate (see How to Check or Switch the Affiliate You're Working In).
Step 3: Open Account Settings
- Click your initials and email at the top right (1) to open the account menu.
- Click Account settings (2).
Step 4: Check Your Timezone
On the Account Settings tab (1), check that Timezone (2) shows your timezone, for example Eastern Time (EST/EDT). SeatHQ uses it for the dates and times on the Activity page, in a listing's Price History and for the sale dates in the Sales report. To change it, see How to Set Your Timezone.
On Inventory and Orders, event dates and times are shown in the event's local time, and order dates and times on Orders in Eastern Time (ET). The Purchases report shows all of its dates, including event dates, in Central time (CT). Email notifications are always sent in Eastern Time, whichever timezone you choose.
Step 5: Check Your Purchasing Accounts
A purchasing account is the email address you bought your tickets with, for example the Ticketmaster account where your digital tickets are issued and managed.
- Click Accounting (1). The Purchase Accounts tab (2) opens and lists your purchasing accounts, each with its email address and vendor.
- Check that the accounts you buy tickets with are listed. By default, SeatHQ creates a Sports Illustrated Tickets (SITickets) account for you (3).
Tip: If an account you buy tickets with is missing, add it (see How to Add a Purchasing Account).
Step 6: Find Where You Add Tickets
Your listings are under Positions (1) > Inventory (2). From any other page, click Positions in the top menu to get back to them. To list new tickets, click Add Tickets (3) (see How to Add Tickets to Your Inventory).
Step 7: Search for an Event, Listing or Order
- Type in the search bar at the top (1), for example an event name such as Hamilton.
- Results are grouped under EVENTS, INVENTORY, SALES and PURCHASES, with the number of matches next to each heading.
- Click an event (2) to open your Inventory filtered to that event, showing all of its tickets.
To learn more, see How to Find Events, Listings and Orders with the Search Bar.
Step 8: Know Where to Get Help
Point to the ? icon at the top right (1) to see Help & support. Click it to open the SeatHQ Help Center in a new tab.
Tip: The SeatHQ logo at the top left always takes you back to your Inventory.
