Introduction
After you create and publish a ticket listing in SeatHQ, your tickets are automatically distributed to multiple major ticket resale marketplaces. This allows your tickets to reach a broader audience of potential buyers without needing to manually list them on each platform.
This guide explains where your tickets may appear once they are published and what to expect during the listing process.
The process is automatic and typically takes only a few minutes to complete.
Overview
Once your tickets are successfully published on SeatHQ:
- Your listing is distributed to multiple ticket resale marketplaces
- Buyers on those marketplaces can view and purchase your tickets
SeatHQ handles the distribution so you can manage your inventory from a single platform.
Publish or Unpublish Your Ticket Listing
You can publish or unpublish your ticket listings either during creation or from your Inventory page.
From the Create Page
When creating your ticket listing, you will see publishing options before completing the process. Use the toggle on the right side to choose between:
- Publish to Marketplaces (toggle highlighted in green) to immediately distribute your tickets
- Create Unpublished to save the listing without publishing
This allows you to control when your tickets become available on external marketplaces.
From the Inventory Page
After creating your listing (published or unpublished), you can manage its status from the Inventory page.
- Locate your listing within the Inventory page
- In the event row, click the downward arrow on the right side
- This will display the Published / Unpublished toggle
- Use the toggle to update the listing status at any time
This option is useful if you want to quickly publish, pause, or update listings after creation.
Verify Your Tickets Are Listed
Your tickets may appear on one or more of the following resale marketplaces:
- StubHub
- SeatGeek
- Vivid Seats
- TickPick
- GameTime
- TicketNetwork
- Go Tickets
- Viagogo
- Gigsberg
- Ticombo

It can take about 5–10 minutes for your listing to appear. Your tickets may show up on some marketplaces but not necessarily all of them, depending on the event availability and marketplace policies or requirements.
Best Practices
- Ensure your event details and ticket information are accurate before publishing.
- Check your SeatHQ Inventory page to confirm your listing status.
- Allow several minutes for listings to sync across external marketplaces.
- Confirm that your listing has successfully published to at least one marketplace.
Frequently Asked Questions

No. SeatHQ automatically distributes your listing to supported marketplaces once you publish the listing.
